ClearType IE

Hi guys.

Have you ever wanted your font like vista on your computer not just some programs like IE7? Well now you can by following this tutorial you will have your computer with ClearType enabled in no time!

Anyway on with the tutorial,

1. Fire up Internet Explorer , "What! IE! That is rubbish, Firefox ftw!" you say, well because Microsoft want to use their software you have to use it, so please don't moan at me lol.

2. On the Url Box type--- www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/step1.aspx

3)Once it's all loaded up an information bar should pop-up saying about how it wants to install an activex program to enable ClearType. Right click and let it install activex controls and then you will see another pop-up saying "Install" and "Don't Install" Of course press install. The page will then refresh so you will know when it is done.

5. Now, Scroll down you should see a check box saying "Turn On ClearType" Check it and find the button saying Next and click it.

6. Next, you will be greeted with two boxes, this time the choice is up to you and what you feel looks nice you pick.

7. Finally, the last step is again up to what feels best to you. 6 boxes will be presented infront of you. Choose which one looks best and press the finish button..

You now have ClearType enabled on your computer. Enjoy!
